Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

You are so much more than your gender, sexuality or age bracket. You aren't defined by your circumstances; things that happened TO you, are not you either. But we are all a product of the people around us; shaped by the ideas and experiences we choose to identify with. We are all influenced by the stories we explore and the stories we choose to own. We are not supposed to do life alone and we are ALL still on that journey to becoming who we truly are. It's okay to say, "I'm still figuring that out" and enjoy the time it takes doing so.

He knows you, because He created you. 'God' is the word we give to the One through whom everything else exists. You exist because before time was even a thing, God knew what it would be like to have you walking around and experiencing life because He is the One holding everything else together and He wanted YOU TO HAPPEN. Even in the deepest, darkest and hardest moments of our lives He is with us and experiencing it alongside us until the broken story becomes a more beautiful one. God loves you and accepts you as you are because nothing you could possibly do or have done to you is unseen by Him and nothing can suprise or shock Him. God fully sees, fully knows, fully accepts and fully loves you as you are because that's who He is and that's what He does.

In community with other people also on the journey to figuring these things out together. Millicent Youth Hub is a place where you can find others who are still working things out and find belonging as we all do life together. Life is best done alongside others fully committed to fully accepting and fully loving who we are on our way to who we are becoming. We can't wait to meet you!
